Trial is the quarterly journal for the American Association for Justice (“AAJ”), formerly the American Trial Lawyers Association (“ATLA”). Its issue for April 2017 is emblazoned “DAMAGES” and subtitled “Jurors’ minds – What’s beneath the surface?”.

The April 2017 Trial also reports a vehicle crash case in its “Verdicts & SETTLEMENTS”. Under “NEGLIGENCE,” “Boston Whaler collides with fishing skiff, severely injures sisters” marquees a 2016 New Jersey jury award of $9,500,000.00. Id. at 10, 12.
