Trial is the monthly journal of the American Association of Justice (“AAJ”), formerly the American Trial Lawyers Association (“ATLA”). Its issue for May 2017 covers “MEDICAL NEGLIGENCE”.

“Verdicts & SETTLEMENTS” in Trial for May 2017 reported a $30,000,000.00 2016 Georgia jury verdict in a vehicle accident case, “Jeep crosses centerline”. Id. at 10,12. It also highlighted “City employee fatally strikes pedestrian in crosswalk,” a $2,000,000.00 2016 California jury verdict for the wrongful death of an 89-year-old survived by 5 adult children. Id. at 12.
Mr. Waterman has been a member of AAJ/ATLA for 30 years. His practice focuses on vehicle accidents, medical malpractice, and other cases of wrongful death, brain injury, paralysis, and other serious personal injuries.
