Id. “Truck driver rear-ends motorcyclist after suffering seizure” chronicles a 2018 California personal injury case in which a jury awarded $41,860,000.00 for general and special damages alone and then the parties settled for $46,000,000.00 pending the jury’s punitive damages verdict.
