By Order entered May 4, 2022, Circuit Court for City of Chesapeake denied the offending Defendant driver’s Plea in Bar, holding that the Virginia Supreme Court’s Judicial Emergency Orders in 2020 tolled the statute of limitation for all cases, even filed ones, and accordingly that the Plaintiff car accident victim’s Amended Complaint was filed timely. The case is Case v. Price, No. CL20005911-00.
