On August 15, 2017, Mr. Waterman was recognized as 2018 “Lawyer of the Year” in The Best Lawyers of America for Medical Malpractice Law – Plaintiff in the greater Norfolk area (Southeast Virginia region). This marks the 3rd time in the past 5 years that he has been voted “Lawyer of the Year” by his peers, being named in 2014 and 2016 previously.
Also, Mr. Waterman again was selected for inclusion in The Best Lawyers of America for 2018 for Personal Injury Litigation – Plaintiff, as he also handles motor vehicle accident and other personal injury and wrongful death cases. This marks the 11th consecutive year since 2008 that he has been honored by Best Lawyers in both of his practice areas.
