In late 2012, Colorado and Washington legalized marijuana, and similar voter initiates nearly passed in California and Oregon – all contravening federal law. Although recent polls reflect a historic shift in public attitude about marijuana, some if not many addiction professionals question the ramifications of legalization. Id.
