On September 20, 2019, the U.S. House of Representatives passed H.R. 1423, the FAIR Act. The Act restores Americans their Constitutional right to trial by jury by ending forced arbitration.
Among others, the FAIR Act was advocated by the American Association for Justice (“AAJ”), formerly the American Trial Lawyers Association (“ATLA”). I have been an AAJ/ATLA member for more than 30 years.
