July’s Trial also marquees a car crash case in its “Verdicts & SETTLEMENTS”. In “Drag racer collides with motorcyclist,” a New Jersey jury in 2018 awarded $2,300,000.00 for personal injury pain and suffering, and on retrial another New Jersey jury in 2019 awarded $39,000,000.00 for personal injury pain and suffering; with both awards being against the offending motorist and the landowner condoning drag-racing on its publicly-traversed property. Id. at 12.
Trial is the monthly law journal of the American Association for Justice (“AAJ”), formerly the American Trial Lawyers Association (“ATLA”), of which Mr. Waterman has been a member for 32 years. His law practice focuses on vehicle accidents, medical malpractice, and other cases of wrongful death and personal injury.
